Ramadan brings a special feeling of emotional and religious
zeal of all ages. It is one of the holiest months for Muslims
Ramadan is always in the same day of the Islamic calendar,
but various in Gregorian calendar from year to year. Hence, every year Ramadan
starts 11 - 12 days earlier that previous year. Day of Ramadan is decided when
the full moon is sighted (Gregorian Calendar is a Solar Calendar and Islamic
Calendar is a Lunar Calendar) In this month Muslims all around the world fast
and worship god.
Ramadan is a time of intensive worship, reading, of the Qu’ran,
giving, charity, purifies ones behavior and doing good deeds.
Significance of Ramadan is that Muslims ask for Allah's
blessings, making their meaningful. Ramadan is the month of celebration as well
as the month of discipline and self-control
Muslims fast for 30 contentive days from, sun rise to sun
set.
